The client is a software company specialized in developing advanced Equity and Derivatives Trading Applications for trading on the electronic exchanges of the Euronext Markets. We have been developing our technology for over 10 years in close conjunction with traders and risk managers from our partner trading companies, focusing on reliability, efficiency and robust software design.
Job Description:
We are looking for an Outstanding C++ Software Developer to complement our small and experienced team in building the next generation of automatic trading software solutions. You will be working in dynamic environment, designing and implementing client and server modules of trading, portfolio-management and risk-management systems.
Requirements:
Successful completion of an Academic degree (B.Sc., B.A. or equivalent) in computer science, mathematics, physics or related field.Ideally, at least 2 years of experience in designing and implementing object oriented applications in C++, using MFC and Visual Studio on Windows OS (although we will consider exceptional candidates which fulfill all other requirements):Experience in building large-scale, robust, highly optimized, client-server applications is very desirable.
• Knowledge of COM+, CORBA, or an equivalent distributed object-oriented model is desirable.
• Experience in designing and managing large MS SQL Server database(s) is desirable.
• Experience in designing software applications using UML is desirable.
• Ability to find solutions using creative, pragmatic, and highly analytical approach.
• Ability to handle high level of abstraction.
• Willingness to execute both short term and long term programming projects.
